  1. Hi Becky
Just want to say I love your real live kitchen. lol When you have mishaps it goes to show we all have our days I have my share too. Nice to know others no matter how efficient you are in the kitchen things happen lol

  2. This vlog was so fun and I also can relate a lot with all my clumsiness in the kitchen. You are a rockstar, Becky! I am always excited whenever you have a new video. Definitely my fave youtuber! Always keepin it real.

  3. Love watching your videos thank you. Your an inspiration that motivates to try more things like canning and I want to dehydrate some things to try. Thank you for taking time out of your day to share all you do with us.

  4. Beck…. I feel as though I can call you “Beck”… I do have a huge pressure canner…. Nope never gonna use it! I’m very interested in your electric canner! You do talk about how easy it is to use… I would really appreciate a remedial tutorial… for those of us in the back of the class…. Thanks friend! Oh…. Give us an update on the baby!.. hope you and yours are well…. Hugs from Louisiana!!

  5. Becky, if you ever come across a good recipe for homemade chicken nuggets that you can freeze we need it. I just saw on Twitter that a woman in our state found shards of metal in a bag of Tyson nuggets, the whole bag ended up having long shards of metal in the nuggets & she submitted pictures, never ever buying them again.

  6. hi becky, new fan from malaysia here. i thank you for sharing ideas on prepping vegetables for cooking. i now have carrots, zucchinis, peppers, all chopped the way i liked in in the freezer. it makes cooking time so much shorter, and so much less daunting. i noticed we ordered take out less now, and it all because i dont hate the idea, as everything is ready to go. thank you again for sharing this idea!

  7. I didn't even know there was a separate name for a thickener that's flour & butter mashed together. I'd never used it until last week, I was making Thai curry & was a pack short on curry roux cubes which of course I discovered after adding the liquid. Luckily I had enough of the spices I needed or substitutes & I decided to just mash it all together using butter & flour then slowly dissolved it by stirring the fork around in the curry pot until it was all incorporated, there was zero clumping & it worked beautifully.

  8. It was just an elbow bump, someone said it was your pregnant belly??? Living the life along with you. You recently said you were craving fresh foods/salads/something similar to garden veggies, so my prediction is you're having a Girl!!! All my life I just knew I was going to have a girl so I was shocked when I had a boy, and now I couldn't be happier or more proud with him in my life. : D

  9. Oh Becky, check out making your own yogurt. I keep 2 heaping tablespoons in my freezer to start my next batch. It's a generational starter so my first batch is always just my starters for the freezer. It's so easy with the IP. And it is so much tastier and like you, I love to know what goes into my families food. I so love to watch you girl! You give me so many ideas, so many encouraging moments! I got the electric canner and am adding to my pantry. I'm 63 but I had my first garden this last summer, all because of you! I have a bit of success with container gardening and dream about next year. I am so excited for you in this next season of life. I'm praying for you, Josh and your little one on the way.

  10. Lil tricks from my grandma (we're french), you can use lemon Juice to thicken your jam because there is lot of pectin in it. Also gives you brighter color and flavours
And to thicken a soup or whatever meal we had a few tablespoons of flour in a small glass of water, that way you have no clumps! I'll try with the butter next time !

  11. Dear Becky,
When I watched your harvest videos. I was surprised that you didn’t harvest the celery root. I love to use it in soups, it has almost the texture of potatoes or turnip cabbage. Next harvest season you could try harvesting it, it stays fresh for a long time similar to other root vegetables;)
I really enjoy spending time with you in the garden and kitchen ❤
Last week I made my first freezer meal lasagna and I was sooo happy to be able to pull it out last night for a quick homemade dinner! Thank you!
