VIDEO: Stop Using a Spade!

That’s right, using a fork is so much better for your garden and for your back too. Yes, a spade or shovel can be useful for moving piles of soil or sand on occasion, but for most tasks a fork can do what a spade can with less effort and more efficiency, while also being a friend to worms and tackling those pesky weeds. Use the FORKS!

  1. I think you mean to say "Use the right tool for the job you are doing".

What you were doing there were "fork" jobs.

If you were digging something out to lift it, or you actually wanted to cut it, you would use a spade.

If you wanted to scrape off a section of soil, you would use a spade.
If you wanted to move larger amounts of soil, you might use a spade, but a shovel would be better.

Spades are made for certain jobs. Not for others.

  2. First day i went to help my mom at her allotment i stabbed a frog through the leg with a fork…. brought it to a vet but dunno what happened him. Give a little rustle gentle before you stab!

  3. Unless youre hunting for worms too fish with or whatever Just push the spade in the ground and shake it to imitate Rain and a lot Will Come above ground for the picking !
