  1. Have you checked out Georgie Newbury at Common farm flowers for all things to put in a bouquet aren’t just flowers …..she is in England & lives on a plot where she grows staples for bouquets such as crab apple, willow, all sorts of vines & other greens that add life & texture & movement in her amazing bouquets.

  2. 5:58 It is strange how we think a regular supply for someone’s passion doesn’t make a good gift. I would also love some high quality seed starting trays, knitters always love yarn, etc. Let’s start a movement this Christmas – get people things they will use this Christmas! 😀

  3. I know it'd be probably a couple hour drive, but Grainger Canada in Kamloops should have hardware cloth, if not in stock then quickly shipped in from another location, and from what tell on my end (I'm in the supply chain sector and work with Grainger a lot) they have a variety of mesh sizes, gauges and sizes. (50ft lengths available too). Hope you find a solution to your hardware cloth dilemma.

  4. I thought Florets dahlia book might be on my list. I am curious if anyone has read it and their thoughts. I am very much a newbie growing dahlias.

  5. Thanks for sharing about what each of those books are about, and for introducing your thoughts on the need for different business models than Floret . I'm learning this stuff but no plan to obtain a farm currently. Just Dreaming of escaping my unfulfilling job in New York City at the moment

  6. Hello Guys,

I found some interesting youtube video regarding new way to sell flowers during fall time "Pumpkin arrangements". May be you guys can try that next year. I saw this concept in "shifting roots" YouTube channel.
