  1. There are some copper pans a Walmart that work really well in cooking eggs in that the don't stick. also I found that cooking eggs at a low to medium temp works best for me in getting the constancy that I want. Which is a soft scramble.

  2. NEVER get teflon, it has forever chemicals in it..look it up. Ceramic is much better option, most stuff wont stick on stainless steel if you keep heat low to low medium. also, brown your meat before cooking in crockpot, makes much better flavor

  3. I love my ceramic pans for eggs, and everything I don't use my cast iron or steel for. You just need to always handwash it with a cloth, and I only use a silicon or bamboo/wood utensil with it.

  4. The Instant Pot is the ONLY way I do potatoes! I like to use the basket so all I have to do is lift it out to drain out the water. It’s also the way I do all my pastas. So quick and no mess.

  5. I have a non-stick pan that is specifically my "egg pan" and that is the only thing that gets cooked in it. Other than that I pretty much use my enameled cast iron skillet and Dutch oven.

  6. I make freeze ahead breakfast burritos as well as regular burritos. I’ve found if I broil the wrapped burritos for just a minute, seam side down first, they are even better after freezing and reheating. The tortillas don’t get soggy and they keep their shape after being reheated.

  7. When I worked my crock pot was my best friend. Sunday’s also, I’d put on lunch in crock pot and it was ready after church. Almost anything simmered in a pot or cooked in oven can easily be adapted for crock pot!

  8. Ceramic is just as good as nonstick, it just degrades in a different way. Neither can handle high high heats as far as I know. I would recommend ceramic personally because it lasts longer, but that might just be a me problem!

  9. I had preclampsia with my baby (11 months now, WOW HOW TIME FLIES) and o had to stay at the hospital 4 days while my 4 lb baby was good to go day one
Im laughing right now cause im use to you talking and i can hear how out of breath you are. I definitely commend you for how much energy you still have to do all this. I think you mentioned being italian? Those women cannot be stopped

  10. Looks yummy. One of my chores is, every other week I make two dozen breakfast burritos and freeze them. But like your chickens, mine have started to slow down so I will be making less. Then I start making groats the easy way. Overnight in a thermos. We also use link sausage and scrapple. I don't chop any of the meat but lay it in the burrito and roll with the eggs in cheese. So, it's always a surprise when you bite into them to discover what the meat is. Bacon grease is my preferred choice for preventing sticking. I use cast iron and works great. Might have to try adding hash browns to ours next time. We love to add salsa to our burritos sometimes but especially when we use chorizo.
Love the snow. It's my favorite time of the year. We just got 26 inches of the white stuff…so magical. The sunrise this morning was spectacular. Wish I could put pictures in here.
Costco has precut aluminum foil which is perfect for wrapping burritos. We like to grill the burrito's before freezing.

Love functional furniture…if we had ever been successful at having children, we would have done the same thing.

Mashed potatoes freeze dry really well.
Pork sandwhich with cole slaw. Yummy.
    Becky, your dinner looks divine!
Tip-empty your freeze dryer trays into a 2-gallon zippered bag and then it's wicked easy to pour from there into jars or mylar bags. Thanks for sharing Becky!
