Well that rooster could always go on the rotisserie for a roast chook?? LOL!! J/k!! I sincerely hope that corn grows for you and gives you some privacy from your neighbour's backyard!! Maybe it's just me…but I don't like how open that is!! Good luck with it all!! :-)!!
I just discovered your channel and I think you are an absolute sweetheart. I'm a fairly new gardener so you have been very helpful to me. I'm in Ont. Canada snd they're calling for snow this weekend, which yes, is unusual. Thankyou for making your videos! I'm subscribed
Roosters are always my favorite! Now is a good time to keep a rooster. Just in case you NEED to incubate . I sold two bantams for 40 bucks the other day at auction. People are grabbing things up like crazy! Your garden is very inspiring! Love how it just takes up the whole back yard!
Just discovered your channel. I am a Mississippian as well. I live in Tippah County about 11 miles outside Ripley (First Monday). We have a little 6 acre homestead in what is known locally as the Hatchie Hills area. Hubby has not been well enough to plow my big garden this year but, your video just inspired me to crank up the push tiller (when it quits raining) and plow up a small 20 foot square next to my herb garden to plant peas and corn. I have already filled my kitchen garden and the herb garden has more vegies than herbs LOL. Needed more space so, thanks for the inspiration!
Your garden is so pretty and doing very well. The rooster is a beauty. Thank you for sharing.
Nice harvest there about perfect for the stir-fry!! Hopefully your broccoli produces a nice
big sized head or several!! Great start for the corn!! No good about the Rooster but them
maturer hens will put him in his place LOL!! Have a good'nnn
I heard a beautiful Bob White around the 3 minute mark. Oh my, I can almost smell the beautiful fresh springtime air. Your yard is beautiful , when I was growing up in Tupelo my Mama had a garden in our backyard. We ate real good. She was single mother of 5 children and it was a necessity so that we could have good food. I love a fresh homegrown tomato ,still warm from the hot summer sun and little bit of dirt on it. Then we would wash it down with a good long drink from the waterhose.
wow your garden is looking SO so good !!
my peas yellow out on the bottom all the time. I have ground cover and mulch this year
Yup! thats the prettiest non egg laying hen with spurs I ever did see! LOL! Gardens looking great you guys!
