  1. Hi, Jess! Ok — I'm ALMOST through this vlog, but I wanted to interject here…..where you are talking about viewer attention to your videos — it MAY have something to do with your angel-like face and smile….so captivating, honest and just beautiful! I truly DO look forward to all of your vlogs and can tell you that I'm a fan for life! Your content is always "on-key" to your viewers — even this video, talking about editing styles! Thanks…..AS ALWAYS…..for a video so worth viewing. 😉 <3

  2. Jess, I know you are a very busy mama. However, is there any chance you could take a pick of my channel and give me a few pointers. You have been a great inspiration to me. I found your page back when you first released the cow panel trails video. Its just taken a few years to find my voice.

  3. Thank you Jess and Morgan for making this series! My first videos were shot and edited on my phone(I have pulled most of them because of the subject matter – not the tech). I still shoot on my phone, but I now edit on Power Director. I talk to my phone, just like I am talking to a friend, and try not to think too much about getting caught up in the creative process. Regardless of the camera you use, the editing software, or the music in the background, people are drawn to authenticity and value (or density) in videos.

  4. I've been enjoying these videos. They are different from what you normally do, but show another facet of your life. It is really interesting seeing the contrasts and likeness of thinking between the two of you! I have to say…your garden tours are riveting…I can't believe 40+ minutes have passed by when I watch them. Normally I would never spend that much time watching/listening to a video (unless it is Rain Country…I adore them too!). But they always keep me looking and guessing and learning, like I'm about to peek around the next corner and be fascinated…which I always am. Daniel's music too is so… "Home", "Pertinent", "Spiritual". It blends with your personality and what you are trying to share. It always sounds the same like a familiar cozy blanket, but varies in pattern and color too. I got a bit artsy there in description, but I think you get that.

This is getting long, sorry, but I truly think the biggest reason you have been growing the way you have is that Jesus shines through you, and your commitment to Him and His leading is palpable. He is blessing that spirit, I think.

  5. I really appreciate you doing this series. It is beyond helpful. I started my channel and have made 3 videos and I have been self discouraging myself. Thankfully I have all my old footage. After watching all 3 in this series, I feel like I'm ready to dive in! Thanks again.

  6. I love watching both of you! Our homestead is a baby homestead in TX! We have our first garden, orchard, and a 50 flock of chickens, 2 geese and 9 ducks! Plus 4 cows!

I love your comment of living in a glass house. We homeschool and we want our kids to grow up with a hard a good work ethic. And watching you has so inspired me to see people with like minds! I look forward to journeying with you!
