We love love love heading down to see our buddies at Delano in Polk County, Tennessee! This Mennonite community offers some of the best produce around! It’s a great way to jump start your season and get your food pantry stocked as well. You may also enjoy their animal market the last Saturday of every month! Be sure to head on down and give these lovely folks a visit!
Enjoy & thanks for watching! xo

Nothing cuter than a foal!
How gorgeous is that scenery! Got my first Grainger County tomato today @ Kroger in Knoxville, and can't wait for a 'mater sammich with mayo and cracked black pepper! Where is Delano located?
That area is so appealing to me- it kind of makes me homesick for a place I have never been! 🙂 Was that a bag of bugs above the grapes? Some kind of pest trap? If so, could you explain? Shopping at "regular" grocery stores is an exercise in dismay; most places don't even try to cater to people, they want us all eating the same thing to make it easier for big business. I always support small business first, because that is where my heart is.
hope u are going to share that recipe
Our tomatoes have not started coming in yet, but have been canning strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, peach and cherry pie fillings, jams and jellies. Sure would like a “real” tomato… It should not be too long, and it gives us time to beg for your sauce recipe!
15 minutes from my place! Wish i knew you were in town. Would've loved to meet you guys.
hey we was there Saturday … I did not know we was that close …. lol
Those views! Oh my gosh! Beautiful.
I am from Cleveland and now my mom and dad live in Benton. I love the Delano Market!! Its so beautiful.
We really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work! I noticed today that your fellow youtuber/friend MistyPrepper's YouTube channel and Facebook page are gone. I was wondering if you knew why? Thanks!
I always see recommendations to use chickens and ducks to eat the bugs/pests in a garden, but also see where they'll mow down all the plants as well. Can you tell me which is the true case?
I love Mennonite Markets, I sure wish we had one near us! Hugs~ Lea
Wish I had access to something like that in my neighborhood.
hello,, this is a beautiful video,, love the land scape, thank you for sharing,, god bless,,, James,,,
Hi Patera, I hope this email finds you well. In the video at about 4:20 you show a waterway system. What was that?
I have got a little problem at my homestead. my chickens have lice. I regularly cleaned and dust the coop with DE. I am wondering what u use to treat and prevent lice from coming back. I also so have a broody hen that's sitting on six eggs, and hatch day is this Saturday. she also has lice. please help me
Looks like a beautiful market/community. I would love to see more about homemade marinara in the crockpot. Thanks and keep up your great work!
Love Etowah Tenn. on 411, go thru there often. GREAT U-TUBE
does anyone know if they will be open the 4th of July week? we will be driving through the area on the 4th and really want to stop.
You brought a great big smile to my face……..again, Thanks!
I love Delano and their market! We love to just drive out there and admire their beautiful simplicity. I live in Cleveland but both sides of my family come from Polk County. My mama is from Copperhill/Turtletown and my daddy was from Benton/Reliance area. My maternal grandfather worked in the copper mines and my paternal grandfather worked for the Conasauga lumber company. Small world! We came to your conference this spring and learned so much! We are building a small (1 acre-ish) suburban homestead and we homeschool. Such an exciting and rewarding life. We're just praying for some rain! God bless and take care!
Please tell us your recipe for marinara in the crockpot.
I soooooo need to go to this!
Reminds me of Ohio Amish country.
Is the market open every weekend throughout the year?
Carol C I know she said in a video that the market is open from April to October 🙂 hope this helps. I think the animal market is open not just April to October?
Pretty tomatoes I'm a bit homesick watching your videos videos of that farm country thank you for sharing

Why do cucumbers have to have formal weddings in churches? Because they can't elope!
