  1. How gorgeous is that scenery! Got my first Grainger County tomato today @ Kroger in Knoxville, and can't wait for a 'mater sammich with mayo and cracked black pepper! Where is Delano located?

  2. That area is so appealing to me- it kind of makes me homesick for a place I have never been! 🙂 Was that a bag of bugs above the grapes? Some kind of pest trap? If so, could you explain? Shopping at "regular" grocery stores is an exercise in dismay; most places don't even try to cater to people, they want us all eating the same thing to make it easier for big business. I always support small business first, because that is where my heart is.

  3. Our tomatoes have not started coming in yet, but have been canning strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, peach and cherry pie fillings, jams and jellies. Sure would like a “real” tomato… It should not be too long, and it gives us time to beg for your sauce recipe!

  4. We really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work! I noticed today that your fellow youtuber/friend MistyPrepper's YouTube channel and Facebook page are gone. I was wondering if you knew why? Thanks!

  5. I always see recommendations to use chickens and ducks to eat the bugs/pests in a garden, but also see where they'll mow down all the plants as well. Can you tell me which is the true case?

  6. I have got a little problem at my homestead. my chickens have lice. I regularly cleaned and dust the coop with DE. I am wondering what u use to treat and prevent lice from coming back. I also so have a broody hen that's sitting on six eggs, and hatch day is this Saturday. she also has lice. please help me

  7. I love Delano and their market! We love to just drive out there and admire their beautiful simplicity. I live in Cleveland but both sides of my family come from Polk County. My mama is from Copperhill/Turtletown and my daddy was from Benton/Reliance area. My maternal grandfather worked in the copper mines and my paternal grandfather worked for the Conasauga lumber company. Small world! We came to your conference this spring and learned so much! We are building a small (1 acre-ish) suburban homestead and we homeschool. Such an exciting and rewarding life. We're just praying for some rain! God bless and take care!
