  1. Hey everyone! I'm tuning in from central florida! I am a grower of 6 years now, looking to start a few non profit organizations in the future to help people in need. I'm just waiting for much needed finances and support, in the hope to donate most of what I grow to people and shelters in need.

  2. I’ve been a homesteader all my 58-years, because I was raised that way, and raised my kids and grandchildren that way too, and I’ve only recently discovered you all and you are a huge blessing to me, and have dispelled the loneliness that hits us farmers at times. God Bless You!

  3. Hello from Houston, Texas! We have family up in Harrisburg, AR.
We are actually working on looking for a house with a good sized yard, so we can start with some gardening, chickens/ducks, milk goats and beekeeping! Goals.

  4. My chickens laid eggs all winter. I fed them organic fermented whole grains I ordered from Azure Standard (this is cheaper than the good organic chicken feeds at my feed store because I get bulk bags and they last about 3 mo) and I also gave them a gallon sized bag of greens from my garden that I pick fresh when I feed them each day ( I grew extra so I could do this easily and at no extra cost other than the seed packets and some space) and a small amount of fruit every day. I also started feeding them a half of a sardine per bird. I have free choice oyster shells and grit. I give them fertrell vitamins and kelp sprinkled on their fermented grains. I have 8 chickens and got 8 eggs a day with no supplemental lighting.

  5. Pratt's in Michigan? I'm from Irons Mi. I'm an unknown, unpublished homesteader ' I've so wished to go to one of your meet-ups to meet all of you, and especially the Holler they are so precious! Hubby's too sick, and 70, and I'm an oxygen lifer, so we're pretty much stuck to our own homestead, but watching you young ones, are a special time for us…

  6. This is the Video that catapulted me into my following other homesteaders I learned of in this video. My journey started with Jessica and her lettuce tub and soil bag gardening tips and her tour of her garden, et cetera. I got hooked. At a time in my life where I felt discouraged, defeated, alone and aimless I became inspired and soon was completely captivated by the Hollars, and VW Family Farm and even became a huge follower of Stivers Homestead and Justin Rhodes and Rebekah. My life has been tremendously enriched and I belong to a Homestead Tribe I love and adore in a Cyber World…someday, I will cross paths on this plane, God willing. <3
