So many adorable babies! Do you register your goats before selling them? Our plan is to get into goats next year.
If you are worried about weather the mom is feeding the baby left in the goat shelter you could put up a trail/game camera to watch them

I used to groom our cattle with a curry comb. It's a tool that is used with horses. If You use the curry comb first then use the brush you'll get more of the dirt and loose hair off your cattle. Also when you have cattle that get muddy when outside you will want the curry comb to get the mud off. Our Jersey Cow and our steer's loved being groomed.
So Exciting that you have a milking machine now! So happy for your. It's a really wonderful tool.
A helpful hint when handmilking cows: if your cows ever switch you with thier tails when your milking just tuck the ends of the hair on the tail under in the back of your knee as your milking by hand. It doesn't hurt them, but it does help stop them from switching.
