I can’t imagine the mental load you are carrying along with the physical load of everything going on at once. While it is so exciting I know it’s also exhausting
I also love how freely your children can run and play and explore
Ok so where can I get a cook book either ebook or hard back I need some of your recipes please
Love the photos! Love the pigs!
Love the pictures you added to the video
BEAAAARRRRR! I love that face!
I wonder if she realized that she's putting down those of us that still have to or want to buy our produce from the grocery store. "If the bugs don't want to eat it, why would I?" Well, we eat it. A lot of us don't have the luxury of growing our own food.
I wonder if she soaked the cabbages in salt water to get rid of the worms before she cooked them.
I remember when I was a kid in the 70s growing up in Kansas, we had four huge gardens plus fruit trees and fruit bushes and things like that. We even had Gooseberry bushes! 🙂
Anyway, we also had a big mulberry tree, and I loved to eat mulberries and my stepmother used to get so mad at me and tell me that they were full of bugs. Of course I didn't believe her; couldn't stand that woman LOL. So one day she made me go pick a bucket of mulberries and bring back to her so she could prove her point. She put them in the kitchen sink and ran cold water over them and told me to come back in an hour. I've never eaten a Mulberry since LOL.
put some guinea fowl in your garden. they will eat all the bugs and caterpillars and leave your plants alone.
also hydrogen peroxide diluted 1 part to part water can be used as a natural pest control
There is an online service now that you can order fresh produce, and they send you the less pretty stuff that stores won't take.
So happy to hear you're writing another book! Also I LOVEE seeing what you cook, it gives me so many ideas and always looks amazing!
yassss the pampered chef tongs, i love them <3
There’s Bear! I had to catch up on your videos and I was watching them from the most recent one to this, and I hadn’t seen Bear in any of your newer videos. I was worried LOL. I’m so happy for you and your move. I can’t imagine how exciting and nerve-racking it must be. So much excitement, yet so much to love and remember about your current farm. You have so much to look forward to! I’m so sorry about your father‘s diagnosis. I will continue to pray for your family and your father. Thank you for the bit of sunshine and happiness you always add to my day when I watch your videos.
God Bless You and Your Family
The module home was a good idea. That'll give you a chance to observe and interact with the entirety of your land before you decide where to site the house.
I am loving crockpot and oven dinners more and more and even though it is getting hot here in AZ with my mother living with us and how much work she is to take care of it is just a way of making life easier for me right now. I love that I am starting to bring in a garden harvest to help make those meals even better now.
They are the biggest cabbages ever!! Mine are really taking their time!
Jess, what size camera lens were you using please?
Awesome ❤️
awww the pics are fabulous!!!! Bear's sweet eyes.
I love that you mentioned how musical your home is. I can picture it so vividly. What kind of music does your family listen to?!
Ben reminds me of my grandson, that sweet and all loving soul ❤
what kind of camera and lens is that? I love that pig photo!!
I can tell you have a passion for births and newborns. Have you and Miah considered having any other children? Just curious, not that you don't have enough to do already lol. I'm so excited to see your new book. I was excited about your first book but didn't feel like it fit what I needed. I need to catch up on your videos so I can hear the latest info. Great photos!
Dinner looks delish! I might actually attempt at cooking cabbage. Thank you 🙂
You need a Ben and his Tomatoes sticker…. he is so stinking adorable. He is definitely a old soul.
