VIDEO: Allotment Grow How – Sowing Carrots

Can't help you with the black fly. I don't have that issue. That pumpkin looks like it's needing some minerals more than fertilizer. Try a water soluble Seaweed compound. Both my pumpkins I lost. One went overly wild in the greenhouse and had to cut out. The second decided it liked the neighbors yard more than my own. Not to give you a hard time…I just planted my third crop of soft greens for the year. I'm picking tomatoes & bell peppers already also. I am a "bit" farther south than you are though. Nice vid. bud. Keep `em coming.
Oh yes… Every onion I planted this spring is doing something other than growing a bulb…
My onions looked just like yours, so I dug a couple up to look a few weeks back and they had all rotted at the bulb. I lost all my onions for the year, hope you have better luck.
Wow. Your garden has really popped. Things are looking happy and I would be very happy with that iceberg lettuce. Great job with that. Hope you get that black fly mess taken care of. Nasty creatures.
lovely update thank you for sharing
Thanks for the update. Your lettuce looked lovely.
You could have to get out the soapy water to control the black Fly. You did well to get the Parsnips to grow. Nice Icebergs there.
Sorry to hear about the black fly. Everything other than the black beans seems to be unaffected? I subbed your channel and will follow your garden as I tend to my own!
Chuck
A worthy iceberg lettuce! Which reminds me to plant some myself! Your garden is looking very healthy…happy gardening!
hi. brian from Manchester here. there might be no chemical solution for allium leaf miner, so we use our companion planting.sow carrots between your onions. the smell of onions deters the carrot fly and the smell of carrots deters the allium leaf miner.
keep your updates going mate.they make for good viewing and relaxation for me after a hard nights work.
I had the same problem with the dreaded Black fly
