Mulch for even moisture
Straw or grass
Do not overfeed.
Basil is good companion plant.
Utilize space.
Perennial plants (bring in. Spray for aphids etc)
Parsing when little
2’ between peppers (we plant together..some pepper plants are sold two in a pot.
Great info. Thank you. Love me some Tuck!!
I agree and disagree with "harvesting your peppers before they're completely ripe" maybe just 1 to encourage more fruit. But the thing about cayenne peppers specifically is that they ripen from the main stem first…middle of the plant…traveling upward…then focuses energy on secondary branches AFTER the main stalks' peppers ripen from bottom to top. You would never notice this phenomenon if you took off the middle, bottom most pepper, as well as a few of the main stems peppers. The ripening is not completely random… It is semi-random based on which secondary branch started intaking the most nutrients from the base.
How can I revive my plant that’s going yellow
Love Tuck
