When my husband and I were young, before we were married, we bought an old house…OLD house. His uncle was a contractor for a large company and he taught us how to frame, hang dry wall, spackle, paint, plumb, do electric wiring, etc. Many years later we were able to build our own home and the photos I took were of all the stamps of certificates from the inspections that we passed the first time thru from the electric, heating, etc. ! What wonderful skills to have !
