Smarter ducks get funny about water they perceive might be used by predators. Could be the amount of shade or something, none of them wanted to be first.
Haha, ducks are comical to watch. We have 2 and 1 of them hates the water the other will get in and play and spash, the hater sits and watches and tries to keep from even being splashed

Our Pekin ducks wouldn’t go in the water either. My husband and I had to force them in water. I went out looking for them this morning and Voila they went in on their own.
