  1. Watching you take such great care of all of your feathered and furry friends is heart -warming and inspirational . They all seem to put so much trust in you . Keep making this world a happier place . __ Love your videos !!

  2. love the video !
what kind of bird makes that whirly chirp sound higher pitched … noticed that it usually comes after the turkeys gobble… not always but usually through the video once in the barn ….
    thanks for sharing !!

  3. I have a question. I am planning on letting a hen set on a clutch of eggs (hopefully) but I a not sure about what I am doing exactly. Do you take eggs that were collected all on the same day and put under a broody hen or do you collect over several days to put under her? If you collect over a few days, where do you keep the eggs safely until you put them under her? And how many on average do you put under one of your hens? I have one hen (I think. I can't tell the buff orpingtons apart.) that is seeming to want to sit on the eggs. She doesn't like it when I take them out from under her but it is still getting pretty cold here at night and we had snow today. I would like to wait until March at the earliest to let her start siting on eggs
