  1. Tis I Ricardo. The normal venting for a sheeted roof is 1/300th of the square footage of the roof plane, equal eave and top, in an open attic I use gable end vents if it's gabled, of course here that's not gonna work with the rafter bays closed in. So…a ridge strip vent down full length and (using a 1 1/2 forstner bit), drill three holes in each freeze block and staple 3/16" hardware cloth over them from the outside to keep out bats and wasps, also they make a small round aluminum little vent that compression fits a 1 1/2" hole, but I've seen them start falling out after time, I just finished nailed them thru the flange into the freeze block. I'm thinking that moisture barrier would trap in moisture myself but it might not, I'm not familiar with this unsheeted style. Any diamond blade will cut tile, I prefer my wet saw, but I see alot of roofers just using a skill saw with a dry blade because it's easy to use on the roof. As far as the insulation, I would used r-33 fiberglass bats, but the polystyrene and rock wool is superior also more expensive and more time consuming.
