  1. One per week is great my dear. What ever you can do. Where I live here in Canada we do not have internet and I do not have the time to make videos. We also do market garden so internet gets done then. I totally understand time, farm, kids, household, etc. Good luck
    God Bless Joe

  2. Great job with the goat. We all understand the problems of the videoing and kids. I also have 2 Jobs and trying to run a youtube channel. It is a lot of work. But it is fun. Life is the way that it is and that is what we all want. This is a great lifestyle. And I look forward to your 1 video a week. Thank you for your encouragement.

  3. I am addicted to your channel and amazed you do as much as you do and get it recorded. Your priorities are what make your family so watchable. Keep up the good work!

  4. I've seen a number of your videos and aspire to be more like you! The talk about how many videos you hope to put out and the reality of trying to do so much in limited daytime hours with children, life and surprises… Well, let's just say it's now the end of 2018, you've just recently celebrated 70k+ followers on YouTube, and I think you've done remarkably well this year at keeping it all together despite the ups and downs and the curve balls thrown your way! My little farm is years behind yours in growth, and I know exactly how you feel about projects out the wazoo and plenty of content to video… And I think 2019 just might be my year to start videoing my day to day life and getting a YouTube channel up and going. I want to join the amazing YouTube homesteading family that I've seen these past several months! You're my kind of people!!!

  5. My mom is an ex-paramedic and completely agrees with the “warm and dead” even for humans. When you’re cold, your body sort of hibernates, and may appear dead, but once you warm up you revive.

  6. I've been a subscriber for a few months. Really feeling anxious for spring to get here so I decided to watch some older videos and oh my gosh, your son saying you squish the boob to milk a goat had me laughing so hard. So precious. Love your videos!

  7. I just watched this now but it's TRUE of all animals warmth first. I once had a momma so have puppies over the night and unplugged her heat lamp I thought 3 of the puppies we gone. One quickly warmed up. 2 if them seemed totally lifeless about 25 minutes later I heard the softest cry from my counter and realized one of the lifeless puppies was still alive. Ultimately I only lost 1 puppy which I thought was a miracle. In puppies we warm first, feed small amount of electrolytes, wait 20 minutes, then try to feed milk if their strength is up!

  8. I keep watching but must say I’ve not actually observed you actually DO anything. Much more talk. Just like this, we didn’t actually see you milk anything. Sorry don’t mean to be rude, just it is what it is.
