  1. Make them both. That way you can change them out like you change table mats. I have items in my kitchen that I switch throughout the seasons. When not in use, they get cleaned and placed in the linen closet until my mood changes again.

  2. This is late but I have to add my 2 cents!! Because your black white and green theme is all thru the kitchen i think the beige background in the poppies clashes with the white in your kitchen. The black and white sunflowers blends very well. If you wanted to add a splash of color just sew some solid colored veritcal panals into the sunflower material. That would be pretty to

  3. I’m just seeing this one a few days late lol but the pinks and greens together is just amazing!!! I love this color scheme and not sure if I would of thought of it right away but that one fabric really shows it perfect!

  4. In my humble opinion, the poppies print coordinates beautifully with the backsplash through the black and white leaves. The sunflower print is sepia tone so it may clash with the crisp black and white of the backsplash.

  5. After watching your video I grabbed one of my camping chairs and sat among 600 square feet of garden. It is 7am and as I was sipping my coffee and listening to the morning sounds a huge hummingbird flew into this glorious space. I would have missed it had it not been for you. Bless you.

  6. Hi Jess, I would say since the patterns are not right next to each other I don't think they will clash. The poppy one is really pretty and has all the colors that you are using in the kitchen. It is something that can always be changed later if it doesn't work. Go with your gut girl! The kitchen is looking fantastic so far!

  7. I think the sunflower print on cabinet front and poppy print in window above kitchen table to bring out color in your pink cabinet. Great fabric choices! Your remodel is fantastic.

  8. TRUST ME really- Go for the flower pattern, with color. The BLACK will be picked up from the wall and to really make it POP add perhaps a 2 1/2" Black border, to the bottom edge -It will be awesome 🙂
