We were lucky to have the Salt Springs Hardware ,we ordered 8 cattle panels posts and they are delivering them to us…I am so grateful they will do that!
I believe my potatoes are done for ,those little worms ,not sure what they are called so, I drowned about 40 of them today ,I swear gardening in the Florida Forest Is like hitting your head over and over again on a brick wall!! That's what it feels like…But I'm nit giving up I'll just plant something else,Our Biggest season is winter for up North, Sept.to April or May but it has been getting so hot already…

I looove that you use the zip ties bc that's exactly what I had planned to do for the cucs and watermelons LOL!!!
Do you think those who be to close together once the plants grow?
I cris cross my zip ties on my trellis. One under the cross bar and one over. And if you have a Harbor Freight, I use their black zip ties that hold up pretty well 🙂

Love it. Growing verticals is the way to go. Only suggestion is to start those cattle panel higher off the ground because your tomatoes will grow 7-8ft. Can’t wait to see your outcome❤️❤️

Because dried beans are so inexpensive i dont grow them. I instead do more veggies i can can or freeze or even dry myself. Still learning tho.
I went to buy one of those pounders. But I couldn’t even lift the thing off the rack so I didn’t buy it. Lol. I will probably go back and buy it for my next trellis install though. I will get my college age son to use it for me I think. I also found marked down T posts at Walmart last fall by the way. I didn’t buy enough though.
Too funny. The precise measurements made me laugh. I do this often. The measurements usually work out.
At which store were you able to find 16' cattle panels and how on earth did you get those long things home? My husband said he can't do it in his pick up. Maybe he'll do it now that he knows a girl did it. LOL
