  1. They look good! I like to put a little dollop of chutney or something like cranberry sauce on top of the sausage meat before folding over the pastry before cooking. Makes them super scrummy. My local bakery (in UK) makes a Jalfrezi version – really nice.

  2. They freeze well and easy to whip out if folk come round. This is our go to party snack, most houses in uk have bags of these left over in the freezer after New Year . We have cheese and onion ones too.

  3. We are English and my mum has been making sausage since she was a little girl. She in her 80s now. We live in US and she always had to make for events at work. Later I use to have to make them for work. Americans love them. I am the only one out 8 kids that make them and the crazy story I have is that I made them for Thanksgiving one year and my brother put them in his safe so his wouldn't eat them.

  4. One of the first things we learned in cooking class in high school. Also one of the few things I miss since going vegan. Looks like you did an excellent job. Next thing to try are Cornish Pasties
