  1. I carmilize my onions in butter not oil. I also add a couple of tablespoons of sugar to speed up the process. Can be white, brown or any special sugar you use.

  2. It's an added step but I really like grating the cucumber and adding salt so that it can sit and draw out some water. After about 10 minutes I squeeze it well and add it to my yogurt mixture!

  3. I think the Moroccan kebabs are next on my list! I watch so many cooking videos, but yours are the ones I actually make. They are easy, but the flavors are interesting.

I loved hearing about the boat on Lake Shasta! We have always wanted to rent a pontoon boat on Lake Shasta! Definitely on our bucket list! Hope you had a fantastic time with your friends!

  6. Mujadara is a dish we eat weekly in my house hold (im from the middle east!) And i absolutely love how true to the original you made yours!
    The caramelized onions really are a MUST topping with it!
    So so good!
    (I do agree with you tho, you couldve gone for a whole cup of rice instead of the 3/4 cup, maybe even a cup and 1/4)
    There's always a next time!

  7. I was told once that most of cilantro's flavor is in the roots. You just peel the roots and clean them well and chop them up. Once I tried this i was so in love, and have done it ever since.

  8. I use cinnamon in my fish tacos and nutmeg in my sausage kale soup. They completely make both dishes amazing, but initially I was nervous to try them.
