I made some vanilla extract and did my first canning project, applesauce from local apples! I’m channeling your energy!
I use Rumford baking powder and it is really good. I usually make my own tortillas. My husband's favorite is my chili cheese tortillas.
I’m so happy to see you buying baby stuff, getting excited, I’m sure.
I’m no kinda cook but when I get home, I may explore getting one of those electric pressure canners. It’s an investment but seems easy enough for even me to conquer.
Aluminum is associated with Alzheimer’s disease, there may be others, but this is what jumped at me in my research a while back.
Love your channel and am always energized to tackle projects while I watch you. Congrats on the move! FYI on dairy products — cream freezes well and I would guess half-and-half would too, especially if you're only using it for coffee. Just stir it well upon defrosting. Sour cream freezes OK, but the texture changes and gets more watery; not so good for using as a topping, but still good to use in casseroles or baking. Real yogurt with the probiotics keeps for an incredibly long time in the fridge, especially unopened. Next time you can get three and you'll surely go through all of it before it goes bad, as long as you're careful to use a clean spoon whenever you spoon it out.
Hi Becky, I am from South Africa and you are the only YouTuber recipes that I try and like. Your ingredients are simple and not only American based. I tried the tomato tart and it was a hit. Keep it up and thank you.
Oh my Becky, just watching your beautiful face, it’s screaming Babygirl!!!!!!!!
You can also plant those pinto beans Great video.
As always you are a inspiration. You are so enjoyable to watch. Congratulations to you and Josh on your new home and pregnancy. I want to sign up for your newsletter.❤
Toss anything that has aluminum in it , that goes for body deodorant too , too much aluminum they say can cause , Alzheimers . Parkinson disease and Multiple Sclerosis .
I noticed the new baking powder you bought is also made by clabber girl as well.
Hey Becky, try popping the third half and half in the freezer for later use.
Baby wipes can iritate the skin if used too much (everyday). It is better to use like a washcloth with water. Use the wipes just if really necessary, if you are somewhere where you have no water.
And bonus you produce way less waste!
Hello dear, I love all your videos, et I just want to tell to be careful when you put things in oil, because of botulism, a bacteria. Have a good day, loves from France
I am 76 years old and I have NEVER SEEN a woman work as hard as you do. You need to be cloned lol. I mean it. When I was raising my kids my life was took up all day with kids and husband. I respect you so much. Are you ever tired
I think you can use baking powder in the garden for powdery mildew and other things
How do you organise to do all this? 😮
I freeze dairy. Cheese crumbles when defrosted, but I haven't noticed any change in any other dairy product I freeze.
Do you ever make your own yogurt? would love to see how you do it.
How long do the beans last after opening a jar?
Thank you Becky❤️
Hi! Can I ask, why do you use avocado oil and not extra virgin olive oil? It is less available there where you live? I am from Spain and the best oil we use is extra virgin olive oil, it’s not cheap but avocado oil here is way more expensive here, since we have a lot of olive trees here. XX
I really wish Azure shipped their products. It would be awesome if they did. The nearest drop off near me by car is 1 hr and 12 mins there and back. That's way too far and since I don't drive and I'm disabled that would be too much for me to handle. I see that their products can be returned through USPS, UPS, FEDEX, DHL. I recently went on their website just to see if they miraculously did ship and they don't. If products can be returned I don't understand why they don't ship but anyways another great haul Becky. It's always good to have plenty of baby wipes because you will go through a lot of them. That case should last a good 6 months before you have to buy anymore. If I can make a suggestion? See if Azure has a baby registry. That way when ever your baby shower happens, your family and friends can get all your baby essentials you and Josh will need from one convenient place.
Why don’t you make your own baking power as you make a lot of your own things then you know what’s in them, just a thought.
Funny Note: Your Clabber Girl Baking Powder and the "new" brand that you just bought, Rumford Baking Powder, are both made by the same company, Clabber Girl, Corporation. Hee-Ha-Ha! 😉
So anyway, the aluminum debate can be quite heated. I personally have decided to ignore all of the "dire scare warnings" due to the fact that the levels of aluminum we may consume are relatively very small… meaning it's really not enough to have such negative impacts.
There have been some studies where a case could potentially be made in certain individuals with certain health conditions, but generally healthy people should be just fine with the small amounts they may get from baking powder, cake mixes and muffin mixes, using tin foil in our cooking, etc., etc., etc. So, in my opinion I say to keep and use your baking powder.
Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful grocery haul! Just like you, I would be so proud of those beeswax candles, too! I'm fortunate to live where we have local honey. It's great for helping people who have allergies to use local honey, and wow, tastes spectacular! Be safe and be well! ~Peace!
