  1. I'm so happy you cut the celery instead of pulling it up. After years of starting and growing celery in Missouri, the hardest part is getting the root growing. It was hard for me to watch you pull it up. Even if they bolt just cut them down like an herb. If you grow it again it may live way into your winter or all the way through to spring. Winter here kills it by Dec or when we drop below 25°.
I know its emotional to leave a garden you've worked so hard to create and exciting to do it again.

  2. French pumpkin soup is so delicious – it's my new savory comfort food. My friends give me their Cinderella pumpkins every year so I can process them. One pumpkin will make many quarts!

  3. How sweet are you Becky….!! You're just the most humble person I have ever watched on YouTube…. I love your gratitude towards the viewers….. It was an emotional goodbye for all of us dear….. I am very much sure you are going to go a long way in gardening on YouTube….. in near future…. God bless you…. We are always watching and blessing you ♥

  4. I think I was more emotional about you closing this chapter in your life than I thought I would be! May your new garden give you as much joy as this one has and I look forward to seeing your future plans! <3

  5. I will be missing u and ur garden but I'm so excited to see your new garden as it progresses to another abundant garden. Looking forward to more videos. I literally watch every single video u upload since I have learned about your channel. Watching from the Philippines ❣️

  6. When you were talking about your green beans I'm just wondering is because the rabbits were having babies at that time reason why they were eating all the green beans and eating some other stuff in your garden huh that's a good question

  7. You’ve left a lot of work for the next people. Those upturned pots of dirt, the weeds everywhere… do you think they are expecting this amount of mess? I’d be quite upset if I were the new owners.

  8. I can't believe your abundance with so little rain. You must have really good dirt. Your an amazing person, your energy, the way you explain and instruct in all you do. I can't wait to see your new garden.

  9. It is bittersweet to see the old garden go, but I am very excited to watch the process of designing and building the new one in the new location. SO MANY CHOICES it will be fun to see what you pick and watch it develop.

Have to say thank you for all the various cooking videos. Due to you, I made pie crust today for the first time in 35 yrs! I made crust and then some hand pies using canned pie filling I bought on sale and had sitting on the pantry shelf. Figured if it was a failure, at least I wasn't wasting the good filling I canned! All these years I've managed to avoid being the one to make the pie crust or I just bought it at the store. So, I used your recipe, made tons of mistakes (water issues) but it STILL came out pretty good and we enjoyed the hand pies and are looking forward to my doing better next time because it will then be just that much better tasting!

  10. I want to mention that its not greedy or anything. You empty your house so that they can do what they want with it. how would you know if they want the things you have planted? They might want to flatten the garden and extend the house. that it would be a real pity for not taking all the veggies that you have faithfully . lovingly planted.
you could tell your neighbour to harvest the rest of the veggies if they like(wtihin time frame)
again I say its very very kind of you to leave it to the new owner, just hope they appreciate it.

thankyou Becky, love all your vids. Ive downloaded some so that I can watch and rewatch.
loving hubby and in laws, out laws. so Blessed.
    ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  11. So enjoyed watching you harvest, and your thoughts of leaving produce for the new owners is so like you. You are a kind and thoughtful person and to see how happy you are to start your new adventures makes my heart so happy. I wish nothing but the best for you and your family and may all your dreams and hopes come true, you and Josh certainly deserve this. Love from Australia.

  12. Forgive the ignorance, would it not be possible to dig up some of the plants and replant them in your new place? Like the peppers, marigolds, and others you started from seed? Just to give you a headstart for the produce?

  13. Hi Becky, thought you might like a very easy and quick recipe for your pumpkin &butternut squash. Pumpkin Fritters with cinnamon sugar. My lovely Gran and I use to make them all the time when in season. 200 g pumpkin, or butternut squash
    75 g plain flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder, (not soda)
2 tbsp Granulated sugar, (add only half a tsp if making a savoury side dish)
    2 large eggs
    25 g oil, for frying
4 tbsp cinnamon sugar, if using for dessert

    50min
    Preparation 30min

    Dessert Side dish
    RECIPE'S PREPARATION

    Cooking the pumpkin

The pumpkin must be as dry as possible once cooked so I place it in the rice basket and put in 1/2 L of water to steam the pumpkin for about 20 minutes(this depends on the size and type of pumpkin being used). Once the pumpkin is soft all the way through then it is ready.
Once cooked remove pumpkin and pat dry with a kitchen paper.
Discard water and pu the pumpkin back into the TM bowl.
    Making the batter

    Add all the dry ingredients.
    10sec/ speed 4
    add eggs.
    45sec/speed 4.
The batter should almost hold its shape. If to stiff add a small amount of milk.
If it is too runny then add a little more flour.
Add oil to frying pan on medium high heat.
Scoop a heaped table spoon of batter and drop into frying pan.
Fry until firm andgolden on the underside(this is important otherwise it will run everywhere)
The flip over and fry until golden brown.
To test if they are cooked press firmly and you should see that they springback into shape.
Eat as a side dish or as a dessert with cinnamon sugar.
    Enjoy Philippa from Perth Australia

  14. I see I'm not the only one that teared up. The new owners will be blessed. I hope they will love the garden as much as you. I'm excited to see your new garden and going on that journey with you. Plus your little one will be here too!
