  2. I started some strawberries from seed a few years ago. If those weren't the cutest tiny little
plants! We had a few light frosts recently but I still have strawberry blossoms!
My biggest problem is fighting some kind of bees when I try to pick the everbearing fruit. Sometimes the bees win.

  3. Bonemeal is great for growing strawbs. When I used it mine went from about 6/10 flavour and not much use for anything except jam, to more like 8/10 flavour and good enough to eat on their own without even needing sugar.

  4. I bought bare roots, for the first time, this year. About 90% are green and growing, but the rest are now brown and dry. Any chance those will show back up next Spring? Or should I remove them now? Thank you for the video, as always! ~Kelly

  5. I’ve grown strawberries for the past 6 years. Last year I had my best yield ever 5 gallons. The plants were very healthy in the fall. I decided to do a fall clean up and cut back a significant amount of the dying foliage. This spring came and 80-90 percent of the plants didn’t come back. No harvest this year, I was gutted. I attribute this to my actions last fall, but I did notice this spring many of the plants were pushed out of the ground by frost. This may have also attributed to the death of my plants. What are your thoughts on fall maintenance and methods to prevent freeze thaw problems?
