Does your Simple Pump also occupy the same well where the is a submersible electric pump? If so, if you must replace the submersible electric pump, is there room for to pull it out without having to pull up the below ground parts of the Simple Pump and re-intall it? At 300 feet that's alot of sections of pvc and rods.
Love u both hope all goes good
Do you have a around about coast to get this I am in south eastern KY
Thanks for all the information. Thank you, James for your Service
There are different Stainless Steels. Some of them will Rust. Be safe my friends.
Thank You for your service!
My backup is a 12 v Walbro electric fuel pump with a screened inlet and clear vinyl tubing. with wires soldered and taped to tube. Driop it down the casing, then runs to a couple IBC containers. From there a 12 v RV water pump pressurizes the system
Good info! Bravo James, please do more. Thank you for taking the time to share.
Thank you James. For your knowledge an Advice. And for taking the time to explain. Very helpful
Very good and informative video, these are the ones that are the best!
Hi James.
That was informative and I appreciate you, sharing it. God bless.
I love this channel & loved James’s explanation of the water pump. Thank y’all for all you do
I purchased and installed a Flojak hand pump this past year. It was considerably less than the simple pump, and does have the Stainless steel upper part, but I'm only pumping from 30 feet of pipe (my water level is only 8-10 feet below the top of the well casing). For a deep well, the simple pump looks like a more reasonable option. Excellent show! Thank you for the all the details.
We live on an ozark hill top. Our well is about 500 feet deep with the pump suspended at about 225 feet down. How easy would it be for a hand pump or one like your all's? Thanks.
When we lived in Colorado we had a hydrant out by the barn. It doesn't need pumping. Just lift the handle. I was wondering the benefits of the hand pump over the water hydrant. Thanks. Love your videos.
Why did you go with a Hand pump vs An RPS Solar Pump? From the website they look to be close to the same cost
We have a similar set up here in Northern NY. Well presented by James! Thank you for your service James & I agree……buy made in USA!
What is the difference between the simple pump and the old red hand pump
Thank you James for your service to our Country! My deceased husband was a Veteran too. Miss him terribly, he was a soft spoken Southern Gentleman from Pensacola Florida. Appreciate you both! God bless Yall.
$2200-$3850 on their website as of Jan 9, 2023.
We've had our Simple Pump for a number of years now. My husband did the install…. It took him a little longer than he expected. Our well is 400 ft deep so the big challenge was not dropping something down it as he worked! We love it and it still works great!
I’m just watching this now (1/11), but wondering about a solution for deep water wells. Mine is approximately 700’….. I can’t find a manual solution for this one. Am I stuck with only a solar system hooked up to my well?
Nice information.
If you want a hand pump and motor pump do you need (2) wells?
