This morning, I planted some okra, and the reason I decided to put them where I did was to create a wall to hide my compost area. I come here, and Jess talks about planting her okra for a wall. Lol

Hi Jess! Im a new subscriber. I’ve heard you use the term “hydrophobic” a few times. I understand that to mean the soil will not take up water well, but can you help identify how I would know if my soil is hydrophobic? Is it simply just adding water to see or is there a different way?
