  1. Friends! It was a friendly spider that crawled behind my ferments. I noticed it and after I was done filming I put him outside. I don't mind spiders but I do prefer them outside my house to eat all the nasty bugs 🙂

  2. Becky, I just love how you take us along on your mental process of dealing with homemaking (or any kind of) overwhelm. That is so helpful to me as a homeschool beginner homesteader mom of two. Thank you for not shying away from important topics and skills like these!!

  3. Hi Becky. I live down under and am so impressed with you and your Channel. LOVE watching you and can’t wait to see how the garden pans out. Keep rocking girl you are awesome. Love your work xx

  4. Suggestion – Measure the shelves in your new, upright freezer then keep your eyes open for the opportunity to obtain some more; the used, salvage (cheaper or free) market would be great. Because you're using the new upright predominately for freezer meals AND because many of your freezer meals are in shallow glass baking pans – having a number of shelves a couple of inches apart would work for built-in organization.

  5. Bravo on getting the larder into a MUCH better, much more organized, system. – It is time to start keeping your eye open for a "right priced", area rug that's big, but not too big, colorful, but not too colorful to use as a baby play pad. I can envision you spending an hour or few here and there, on and off in the next year or few with a baby in tow. Also to consider the types of play and toys for this area. I'm the oldest, the parents didn't have much for furniture, and rented a big 'ole house. I can remember the year that the high ceiling dining room had a feature piece in the form of a back yard slide which was super during all those rainy and cold months. There wasn't anything for riding toys but we made cars out of cardboard boxes and we had a "running track" around the edges of the room. A portion of that basement would work for small ride-on toys for those first 12-24 months.

  6. Where did you get your alarms for the freezer's? That is an amazing idea. Your new freezer looks just like our new one we got for our anniversary. I think I'm going to put a strap on mine. The kids have trouble closing it since it's on wheels. God bless

  7. You are so amazing! I only wish I had your energy! Well, I did when I was your age and when I was pregnant and in that period of nesting! Your pantry and freezers are looking great! It will be so much easier for you, to have those prepped meals upstairs for easier access!

  8. I know mum reads the comments, hi. Please don't let her try and sort the chest freezers by her self, send one of the girls or dad to help, she'll never reach the bottom.
What's it like knowing your daughter has thousands of mothers and big sisters checking in on her all the time, I don't think I would handle it as well as Becky does, but it's all said with love, xxx

  9. Every time you pushed the jars back, it made me nervous lol I was just about to suggest putting some soft spongy mats next to the shelving units when the jar broke. That sucks! All your hard work, my heart broke a little bit for you. I know it's not a big deal, but I would be so upset if that happened to me 🙁 Your feelings are valid if that upset you. I also had a suggestion for the potatoes! Use some of that sticky Velcro and some cloth to make a little curtain for your bottom shelf and protect them from the light. That way you don't have to worry as much about them turning green on you. I did the same thing for my grow lights because they were bothering me during the day, but I couldn't shut them off. Love your videos! Living vicariously through you from my tiny apartment <3
