  1. I think it's best to start small then gradually increase your gardening. I did this so I would not be overwhelmed. When my work schedule became crazy I stopped planting more vegetables and then when my work schedule went back to normal I planted the vegetables. I did miss the food but…

  2. So glad to see an appearance of Mrs. MIgardener and mini MIgardener. Thank you for all the hard work MIgardener team. I love the videos. Do we need a petition going so your city will let you have a greenhouse? I'm sure it will get enough signatures ☺️

  3. I grew up in IN where I learned how to garden as a child. Six years ago, my husband and I moved to Golden, CO. I love to garden; however, gardening in CO is much different. I am constantly experimenting in the garden; which is a lot of fun! LyNette R.

  4. Try some sort of solution for a sound obsourbstion on the wall. Even if it is not made for that. Egg cartons or carpet samples, etc. The sound is as if you are operating in an elevator or cave. Go back and listen carefully, also count the number of times you say the word " ah" and "ahm". May be too old to correct or change. Too much for me me to continue with

  5. For me, the hardest part of gardening is composting because it can be some back breaking work if you're turning it regularly. On the other hand, gardening is next to impossible without composting. I guess you're either fully committed or doomed to failure one way or the other.

  6. Summer is pretty pleasant here but we're really close to Lake Ontario. Mostly just 70s and low 80s. Sometimes it gets to mid-high 80s but not that often and 90+ is like a once a summer thing.

  7. Thank you so much for all that you do and all that you share with us. You provide great content for all of us and a great website where we can find affordable seeds with amazing different varieties, you are truly making my garden experience for not only myself but my family and friends are true delight!

  8. I'm new to gardening and I wanted to save seeds and started first with Tomato heirlooms…Do you have any tips to deal with problems..I bought some indeterminates but they acted more like determinates but really think it's just blight or some kind of fungus cause they just wilt brown on many of the leaves and dying back….I still have some tomatoes on there but they are very tiny..I did get some big ones They were so pretty then before ready to pick they got what looked like fungus spots all over them..Any tips to deal with this before it gets out of hand I'm in a humid hot climate down south!

  9. Luke get a beach umbrella on a stand. It will make garden chores so much better when it over 80 degrees. I’m a redhead and live in California so the umbrella Is the only way I can do planting or garden chores when the sun is out.

  10. I have 16 to 18 inch deep raised beds, I know it is hard to fill, but I am 68 and have arthritis, getting up and down even with a 12 inch bed is very hard. The 16 to 18 inch are tall enough that I can sit on the sides and still be able to get up. They are filled about 50 to 60 % and work well for me.

  11. Port Huron is a beautiful little corner of our great country. Cheers to you Luke for all you do and giving back to the small town. Always love going to MI for quick summer getaway

  12. University Extension Services can be very helpful for garden education. University of IL Extension uses Master Gardeners who answer the phone lines.
I've been fortunate to find your videos. Even though I've gardened for nearly 50 years, I'm continually learning new things. You encouraged me to try fall gardening this year, and I'm harvesting leaf lettuce, baby romaine, and peas.
